Fivesome Policy

Groups of five (5) are discouraged from playing. When booking a time it is not possible to book as a fivesome. If a fivesome does play the group will be monitored by the Course Ambassador to ensure pace of play is not affected. The fivesome must keep up to the group ahead. If no group is playing ahead, the fivesome must play in four hours and six minutes or less. If any fivesome creates a slow play problem the Course Ambassador will ask them to pickup and move forward. If the group continues to play behind pace, their privilege to play in any fivesome will be suspended. No fivesomes will be allowed prior to noon weekends and holidays. Any fivesomes teeing off must have the prior permission of the Head Professional, or his designate. The Captain’s Committee will monitor this policy. Fivesomes may be banned completely if deemed necessary.



Mini-Tournament Policy

The Royal Mayfair Golf Club is such a beautiful environment in the summer, and where better to spend a day with a group of your friends, family or business associates than on the links. If you are interested in holding a mini-tournament for any gathering, you should keep in mind the following Club process:

• A mini-tournament is a member sponsored group of more than one consecutive tee time to a maximum of one hour of tee times and has a playing member in each foursome.
• In order to host an event, the sponsoring member must commit to a lunch or dinner for the participants, as well as payment of the sponsored guest green fee for all members.
• The golf outings may be booked on any weekday except Tuesday between the hours of 11:30a.m. and 12:30p.m. to a maximum of one group per week.
• For the month of September, golf outings may be booked between the hours of 11:00a.m. and 1:00p.m. to a maximum of one group per week.
