Golf Shop Operations   When can I start? We are looking for F/T and P/T employees to start in early to mid-April with potential employment until the middle of October.  What are the hours of work?  Shifts are between the hours of 6:00am – 10:30pm.  However, we are very flexible and will often work around your schedule    Do I need experiences? No, you don’t need experience.  On site training for all jobs will be provided.    Do I need to know how to golf? No, you don’t need to know how to golf, but we do expect you to have a general understanding of the game.  Complimentary group lessons will be offered from our Elite CPGA Teaching professionals throughout the season.   What kind of jobs will I be doing? We have four different areas in the Golf Shop Operations:     1. Member Services     2. First Tee Host (starter)     3. Course Ambassador (marshal)     4. Royal Mayfair is located minutes from downtown and next to Hawrelak Park (below the University of Alberta) 9450 Groat Road South.   What do I need to wear? Royal Mayfair will supply several shirts and a pair of pants or shorts (additional shirts and pants may be purchased at cost from the Golf Shop).   Do I receive golfing privileges? All Royal Mayfair employees are encouraged to take advantage of FREE golf privileges during restricted hours.    How much do you pay? Minimum starting wage is $10.00/hr. for post-secondary students and $9.00/hr. for high school students.   How do I apply?
